Mac App Store: How to purchase
All of my apps are also available on the Mac App Store. To download and purchase apps from the Mac App Store, you will need:
- A Mac computer with an Intel processor. You cannot use a Windows PC to purchase Mac apps on the Mac App Store, even if you plan to use it on a Mac.
- Mac OS X v10.6.6 or later. Depending on the app that you want to purchase, a newer version of OS X may be required.
- Internet access
- An iTunes or iCloud account, or you can create a new Apple ID in the Mac App Store.
1. Go to the Mac App Store
A click on any "Download on the Mac App Store" button on my website will open an Apple iTunes web page in your web browser that will connect to the Mac App Store to launch the Mac App Store page listing all of my apps. You can then purchase the desired app by clicking on the button with the price tag. If you use Google Chrome as your web browser you may be prompted with an alert asking you if you want to open the App Store app. Choose "Open App Store.app" to allow this.
2. Purchasing the app
Use your iTunes or iCloud account to purchase an app, or create a new account from the Mac App Store if needed. Attention: The app downloads automatically right after the purchase, you can find it in the Applications folder or Launchpad. Once you have purchased an app, you can install it from the Purchases pane of the Mac App Store on any other Mac you own.
