Why this app?
There are a gazillion apps in the App Store which can export and/or backup your contacts. Apps of all ages, often outdated and abandoned, from an unknown origin, or lacking a privacy policy. Apps that can be downloaded for free but require you to login into some service (hu?) to perform the export -- just to grab the content of your address book behind your back which you can only figure out after reading paragraph no. 264 in their Terms & Conditions. Apps that often do not export all information a contact can have (for example, only the first email address instead of all email addresses of a contact).
However, almost all of them have one thing common: They did not go the extra mile. After 15 years of supporting users of Exporter for Contacts for the Mac I know what users expect from a contacts exporter app. And since I was not able to find such an app I finally sat down and wrote Export Contacts Pro for iOS.

Your contacts are absolutely safe
Export Contacts Pro (and its author) respects your privacy. Any export is done entirely locally on your device. In contrast to other apps, Export Contacts Pro does not analyse or even store your contacts on a remote server. The app also does not perform any kind of user tracking.
