Exporter for Contacts shows only a warning message and does not "see" any contacts!
Starting with OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion, you must explicitly allow an application access to your contact database. Apparently, you accidentally have denied Exporter for Contacts to access your contacts — as a consequence, the app cannot work at all. To grant access again, do this:
- Quit Exporter for Contacts
- Launch System Preferences.
- Go to Security & Privacy > Privacy > Contacts and make sure that the “Exporter for Contacts” checkbox is checked.
