Export Apple Mac iCal, iCloud and Google calendars to Excel and CSV

Export Calendars Pro, a Mac app, exports events and reminders from your Mac's Calendar and Reminders apps to Excel, CSV, tab-delimited text, or the clipboard. It supports all calendar sources Apple's Calendar app does, including Google and Exchange calendars. Unlike other tools, it exports special fields like event duration, useful for billable hours. It also works with BusyCal and Fantastical, provided the calendars are configured in Apple's Calendar app.

Frequently asked questions

Which calendars can Export Calendars Pro read?

Every calendar that is set up in Apple’s Calendar app, iCloud, Google and Exchange accounts included, plus your reminders. BusyCal and Fantastical calendars work as well, as long as those calendars are configured in Apple Calendar.

What does it export that Apple Calendar itself cannot?

Event duration as a field of its own, which is what makes billable hours and timesheets work at all. It also pulls addresses, phone numbers and e-mail addresses out of the notes and location fields. Titles, locations and notes go into separate columns, split by a delimiter you choose or by labels such as “Customer: ACME”.

Which file formats does it write?

Excel, CSV, tab-delimited text, or straight to the clipboard. Field selection, order, sorting and format can be saved as a template and repeated in one click.

Does my calendar data leave the Mac?

No. Every conversion runs locally on your Mac and the app collects no data. An online converter needs your calendar uploaded before it can do anything.

Is there a subscription?

No. Export Calendars Pro is a one-time purchase from the Mac App Store, and a trial version is available for download.

What does it require?

Version 1.17 runs on macOS 14.6 or later.

"Highly recommended if you need to review or analyse a large number of calendar events or export them to send or submit to 3rd parties."

"If Apple were on the job you wouldn't have to buy an app like this, but could just export from Calendar. Well anyway, you can't, and this app works so nicely that I don't even feel bad about paying for it!"
