Moving to Outlook? Exporter for Contacts 2 exports your Mac contacts in the right format for the right target: a native Outlook for Mac (OLM) file – with contact images and categories – or a CSV for Outlook on Windows / Microsoft 365. No data loss, no subscription, everything stays on your Mac.

How to export Mac contacts to Outlook

  1. Open Exporter for Contacts 2 and select the accounts, groups or contacts to move.
  2. Choose Outlook for Mac OLM for Outlook on macOS, or Outlook for Windows / Microsoft 365 CSV for Windows and the web app.
  3. Optionally map Mac contact groups to Outlook categories and keep unsupported fields in the notes.
  4. Save the file and import it into Outlook.

OLM keeps images and categories

OLM is Outlook for Mac's native exchange format. Contacts import with their images and categories intact, into the local "On My Computer" section in Outlook.

No data loss for Outlook's simpler model

Outlook contacts are less flexible than macOS contacts. Rather than dropping fields Outlook doesn't support, the app can add them to the contact's notes – so nothing is silently lost.

The right format for Windows and Microsoft 365

For Outlook on Windows or the Microsoft 365 web app, export the Outlook for Windows CSV. The same format is accepted by many other online services and apps too.
