The quickest way is the app itself: choose “Contact Developer…” from the Help menu in ABBU Restore. It prepares a message in your email app with a short technical report already filled in. The report lists app and macOS version, plus the kind of archive you had open when the problem appeared.

That report saves a round of questions, because trouble with this app is nearly always about one particular archive. It contains no file paths, no account names and nothing out of a contact, and you get to read all of it before anything is sent.

If you would rather write a plain email, send it to and describe the issue. Please include the version of macOS you are using, the version of ABBU Restore (menu “ABBU Restore” › “About ABBU Restore”), and whether you opened an .abbu archive or an AddressBook folder.

Please understand that phone support cannot be provided for ad-free apps distributed through the Mac App Store without a subscription.
