Everything. Rewritten from scratch for macOS 12 Monterey or newer, Exporter for Contacts 2 is a powerful successor to the first series, which has been available since 2006 and still serves thousands of users. Users of Exporter for Contacts 1 can upgrade for free.

How to upgrade

Requirements

Exporter for Contacts 2 requires macOS 12 Monterey or newer.

If you want to switch to the Mac App Store version

1. Make sure to update Exporter for Contacts 1 to the latest version (1.13.2, Download)
2. Download Exporter for Contacts 2 from the Mac App Store. It’s “free” with In-App purchases.
3. Launch Exporter for Contacts 2 and choose “In-App Store…” from the “Exporter for Contacts 2” menu.
4. Click on the “More…” link in the blue info bar and follow the instructions.
5. Consider to rate the app or leave a short review. This will help the further development of the app in these times when it is not getting easier to fund the development of ambitious niche software for the Mac.

If you want to stick with the Direct Sales version

Just register the app with your Exporter for Contacts 1 license credentials and you are ready to go. If you would like to support further development or thank us for the upgrade, you can donate a small amount of money from within the app.

The future of version 1

Exporter for Contacts 1 is now legacy software and will not be updated with new features. However, it is updated for macOS 11 Big Sur and can be installed and used in parallel with Exporter for Contacts 2 if needed.
