- In Outlook, export your calendar to a CSV file.
- Open Importer for Calendar on your Mac and load the CSV.
- Map the columns to title, start, end, location and notes.
- Pick your Apple calendar and import, or save the events as an .ics file.
Where the Outlook CSV comes from
Outlook on Windows writes a calendar to CSV through its import and export wizard. Outlook for Mac has no CSV export for calendars, it gives you .olm or .ics instead, and an .ics file opens on the Mac without a detour. Whichever CSV you end up with, Importer for Calendar reads it as it is: no renaming, no reordering of columns.
Categories come back out again
Start and end times, time zones, durations, recurring events and alarms are all preserved. If you export the result as an .ics file, Outlook categories are written along with it, so a calendar that goes back to Outlook keeps them.
